Piano Blue Book Resale Value

Determining the fair market resale values of used pianos is NOT done by looking it up in a piano "blue book"
- nor does the piano industry use any such publication. Unlike used cars, used pianos are not neatly categorized
and valuated according to specific year, make, model and features.

Many factors affect a piano's value including: its age, geographic location, condition and beauty of the piano's
cabinet, the condition of the piano's structure and inner parts, and the eagerness of the potential buyer (or seller).

Any piano is ultimately worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but many people have no idea even where to
start when it comes to pricing their piano once they intend to sell it. On the other hand, potential buyers are not
sure whether or not a used piano for sale is reasonably priced.

The most accurate way to determine the value of a used piano is to have a local piano technician, who has
experience with the piano sales market, perform a detailed assessment of the piano and its condition.

However, many people have expressed interest in simply getting an experienced and well informed piano
appraisal without having to pay a piano technician $150 to $250 to thoroughly assess and appraise the piano
onsite. They may choose to do this later in the process, but they just want a quick and inexpensive general answer
now, so they can make some initial decisions.

In response to our clients' demand, we have created an online resource:

Online Piano Appraisal Service

What Is the Online Appraisal Service?

Our Online Piano Appraisal Service is intended as a piano price guide for :
people who are thinking of selling their own piano; those who are searching the used piano market and want a
quick and reasonable starting point to determine a particular piano's current market value; or for people who are
simply curious to know roughly how much their piano is worth.

Who Should Use This Service?
Anyone who wants a quick and inexpensive guide to a piano's value:

-
Sellers: You are thinking of selling your piano and want an idea of its value in order to determine a selling price.
-
Buyers: You are searching for a used piano and want to know if a particular piano is priced reasonably.
-
Owners: You are curious to know the fair market value of your piano, but don't want a comprehensive appraisal
performed by a piano technician just yet.

Do You Appraise Other Keyboard Instruments?
Yes. Click Here for other acoustic keyboard instruments; electric/electronic, analog or digital keyboards; digital
pianos; organs, synthesizers or samplers.

What Is Included In the Appraisal?
Our Online Piano Appraisal Service will provide:

- The fair market value of the piano in its present condition, based on current market conditions in North America.
- The replacement value of a similar new piano (we do this only if the manufacturer is still producing pianos today).
- The age of the piano and a brief background of the manufacturer, if possible.

How Much Is It and How Fast Can I Get the Appraisal?
- OPTION 1: $10.00 U.S. - appraisal emailed usually within 5 business days*
-
OPTION 2: $15.00 U.S. - appraisal emailed usually within 24 hrs*

*99 percent of all appraisals are delivered on time.

In certain cases we may have to take extra time to validate market comparable information. Our valuations use our
experience and expertise combined with thorough, diligent and current market research, utilizing as many sources
as are available to us. If any delay is expected, we will contact you by email to notify you.

Express appraisals are still expedited, and any delay time due to extra research would be compressed compared
to other appraisals. For example, a typical delayed appraisal ($10.00) may arrive in 10 business days, whereas a
delayed express appraisal ($15.00) would typically arrive in 3 business days.

How Do I Pay?
After completing our Online Appraisal Form, you will be taken to a secure page at ClickBank for payment. We
accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Bravo, Eurocard, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, JCB,
Novus and Visa/MasterDebit cards. Cards from any country are accepted.

A confirmation response and receipt will be issued to you via email.
