German Renner Concert Grand Action
Matching Adjustable Tufted & Padded Bench Included
Includes Dolly

NOTE: Does not come with casters (wheels), but is still well suited for institutional purposes
in studios,
schools, churches, halls etc., as the piano is raised on the dolly no more than it
would be with the
casters on. Grand pianos are commonly on a dolly when played.

Includes Dampp-Chaser Humidity Control System:
Recommended by piano tuners, technicians and major piano manufacturers, a Dampp-Chaser, also known as
the
Piano Life Saver System, is the best way to provide automatic humidity control of the piano, enhance
performance, and protect your investment. The system monitors relative humidity, responding with a
dehumidifier when conditions near the piano are too humid, and a humidifier adding moisture when it is too
dry. It stabilizes pitch and permits tunings to hold better and longer, prevents damage to piano parts from
humidity changes in the environment, thus improving the performance of the inner moving parts of the action,
prevents rust on strings and metal parts, and minimizes felt deterioration and glue failure.
The system is installed discreetly in the piano and maintenance is very simple.

In 1885 the first Schimmel pianos were manufactured in Germany and since then, the family-owned company
has flourished. For more than a century the Schimmel Piano Company has retained and held true the slogan of its
founder, Wilhelm Schimmel: "Quality will prevail." The four-generation piano manufacturing company held on to the
these standards in piano workmanship regarding tone quality and touch - and are now set even a bar or two higher
by the present management. Schimmel's pianos have both been entered in international instrument tests since 1988
and have repeatedly received accolades. Concert pianists and journalists from around the world participate in
tests, following precisely defined and strict criteria. The numerous awards received by Schimmel during these tests
provide proof that the quality of Schimmel instruments is internationally acclaimed by experts. Their instruments
have consistently shown to possess the ideal combination of reliability, playability, tonal quality and elegance.

This piano is part of Schimmel's top line Konzert Series, manufactured with high end features to meet
the demands of even the most advanced pianists and professional musicians. In addition to improved
soundboard and bridge materials, this line has superior tonal volume and distribution
. Because of the
duplex scale
design, that is the “non-speaking” segment of the string located behind the bridge,
t
he sound results in greater tonal colour with sympathetic harmonic resonance.
Its German Renner action also provides for a very responsive feel.

Excellent overall condition including bridges, strings, tuning pins, keys,
hammers, dampers and felts, and all inner moving parts of the action.

This piano has been well cared for, with light wear on all parts.

It is truly a superior German-made instrument suitable for serious players.
In addition, the inclusion of a dolly and humidity control system makes this a tremendous value.

The price of a similar new Schimmel model
sells for $80,000
