Katya has her Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition from U of T
and has taught music for 32 years.
"Since I'm a published composer, now writing music for film and television, I'm also
offering students the chance to write their own music in my extensive electronic studio. I'm offering lessons in theory, all styles of piano playing:  pop, jazz, cocktail, etc. and also prepare students for recitals, festivals and Royal Conservatory of Music exams (incidentally all my student scores are at 80% or more!).  Because of the extensive experience and background I bring to my teaching practice, I am requesting no beginners please.  If you are a dedicated pianist and are getting excited about music and playing the piano - then I'm the person for you! Let's have fun!"
