I am a current doctoral student at the University of Toronto in Performance with over 10 years of experience
teaching classical and jazz/popular private piano lessons. I continue to teach students of all ages and
experience. My previous teaching experience has included a faculty position at the University of Idaho and a
current teaching assistantship at the University of Toronto. My own wide-ranging experience as a performer
informs all aspects of my teaching, having performed as a classical accompanist, a keyboardist for busy
pop cover bands, and my own jazz projects (see website for details). My strength is in instilling curiosity,
creativity, and musicianship through the piano, regardless of musical genre. I will travel to most locations in
Central Toronto to teach in-home. Contact me for rates! First lesson always free!
I typically teach at students' homes, but occasionally take a student at my home
