| Heintzman Grand with PianoDisc Player Piano System $26,000 Serial Number: 32913 Date of Manufacture: 1909 Length: 5' 8" Hand Polished Ebony Finish Ivory and Ebony Keys in Excellent Condition Matching Adjustable Padded Bench Included PianoDisc IPad System and High Quality Audio System installed in Sept. 2011 This Heintzman was made in Toronto (the Keele and Dundas location) and has lived for years at the Shaw festival. This piano is a complete rebuild. An interesting and extremely solid design, modeled with Steinway scaling in mind, has a totally re-engineered sound board and bridges to start. The original 'floating sound board' has been removed and is now a classic full rim. The pin block has been replaced with 13 ply maple. Bass bridge is modified and ribs are slightly less bulky than originals, creating a more open and resonant sound. The colour is hand polished gloss black with a lighter wood stained mahogany on both the inner rim and the flutes on the legs. All action parts have been replaced and the keys are ivory and ebony. This is the first work this piano has ever seen so there's no worry of past tampering and all original parts are intact for extensive reference. GC strings with Roslau wire in the tenor and treble.
